Lovely place to relax and unwind

When searching for a restaurant for dinner upon arriving in London I found Scully. Sadly it was closed on Monday so we could not go but then we booked online for Wednesday night tasting menu. We were worried when a revised confirmation said it would be 2.5 hours vs 2 hours as we had tickets to a show that same night.. I messaged them and they said we could switch to a la carte and we would be out on time for our show. We arrived right at 5pm and were seated immediately. The inside is cozy and warm with an open kitchen where you can see all the chefs working. It was not busy this night so we had a very friendly and attentive server. The food was unique and flavourful and enjoyed by all. Our table had the corn bread, arepas, fish, cow pastrami, vegan rice & tofu plate and ended with a creme brûlée, variety of sorbets and a lovely gf/vegan cookie with zero waste banana sorbet. They even brought a nice sorbet with a candle for our son’s bday:) Great experience, wonderful food and friendly staff. A definite must try!

Lugar encantador, amplia gama de vinos de diferentes regiones, especialmente algunos vinos de Francia. gran plato de queso y carne, personal súper amable.

Este lugar nos salvó, veníamos hambrientas y cansadas. Ver este sitio con comida de nuestro país fue reconfortante. Eran versiones de algunnos platos como sopaipillas y empanadas, así que tampoco era ir a comer lo mismo que como acá. Era comida chilena con mirada británica.

The £15 unlimited tapas is almost too good to be true! There is a 90 minute limit and we could "only" order 3 tapas per 2 persons per round so we thought we wouldn't get enough - we were wrong! The restaurant was full and busy, yet our food came out relatively quick! Overall the food was great. Best - lemon chipotle Gambas (prawns) and crispy calamares & sweet chilli popcorn squid. Worst - crispy hot honey chicken tacos and Brazilian fried chicken, both too dry. By round 3 we were absolutely defeated so we only got one churros each to finish the meal off! Shout out to our server James - 10/10 service.

Nipped in for a quick bite before our train. Relaxed, dim lighting vibe. We had Soul Burger and Feta salad with halloumi from the new menu - all very tasty. Burger - £15.80 (£6 more to add chips).

Lovely space with warming, delicious food in an amazing location!

We arrived at a time when the restaurant seemed empty but , because of the design,realised there were several other people hidden from us. We were offered the first plate of ham,cheese,etc. AND a carafe of sangria which was an unexpected bonus. I had ordered via Groupon and there was a little difficulty finding it but then all was plain sailing. I wished I had only gone for the four plates not the six,as each plate waas too much even for two people. I had to leave a lot and hate wasting food.All were nicely presented and the hot tapas WERE hot temperature wise! As we had to leave for a theatre, I had to ask for the churros which were delicioous. A very pleasant evenbing AND the staff knew what was included. Our only problem was which of the many dishes to choose!

I was visiting from out of town and when I arrived was told that solo people weren’t allowed in. If your foreign and from out of town - you may have difficulty getting in

I guess reading the reviews, I should have been pre-warned that this was not to be the experience I was hoping for. I booked an afternoon tea for family coming over from America who had heard wonderful reports of our afternoon teas. How disappointing it was. I managed to get a 2 for 1 deal through the train tickets for this and I can only assume this was the reason we felt overlooked and underwhelmed as it was mentioned on several occasions by the waiting staff that I had booked a “discounted tea” in a disdainful tone. Our booking was for 4pm, yet we were told “ready in five minutes” at the desk at 4pm having already received the disdainful “oh, you’ve booked a discounted tea”. 15 minutes later we were finally called in when the snooty waiter on the desk saw me glaring and remembered me. At £50 per head - the full price tea charge - I was expecting something amazing as the afternoon tea at the OXO Tower I had recently had was cheaper with much more food, decent sized , warm scones and an amazing view. it’s just ridiculous and I’d have been furious to have paid full price . Dry sandwiches, tiddy little dr scones that weren’t even warm and we didn’t have a view as we were seated a long way from the window. Even for £25 per head it was overpriced. The service charge should have been £12.50, but it was £25 for a £100 bill which is actually 25% service as they don’t take into account the 2for1 deal. They have the cheek to leave space for a gratuity on the bill as well! Our American family were very polite about it, but were extremely disappointed and so were we as we had intended it to be a lovely treat for them. The hotel itself looks stunning, it’s a pity the afternoon tea does not live up to it. We have more family coming over later in the year who would like afternoon tea. We will be taking them elsewhere!

Esta es una aventura gastronómica ya que el menú es secreto, dicho esto, disfrutamos de cada paso de este viaje gastronómico. La habitación es pequeña pero hay mucho espacio en la mesa, la iluminación es tenue y el menú es un secreto. Disfrutamos de cada curso y pasamos mucho tiempo discutiendo lo que estábamos comiendo, los sabores, cómo se veía la comida y cómo se servían los platos. Algunas de las salsas eran exquisitas y cuando se combinaban con otras salsas en el plato eran una combinación encantadora. Difícil describir tanto de lo que comimos pero nos lo comimos todo. La comida se sirvió durante un período de 3 horas, que era perfecto. Probé la combinación de vinos que marcó algunas combinaciones interesantes, también probé algunos vinos por copa. El servicio fue atento, informativo y profesional. El restaurante es caro y los vinos tienen un fuerte margen de beneficio, pero en resumen fue una gran experiencia y relación calidad-precio. Ahorrará e irá de nuevo.

Visité el café el 2 de octubre. La ubicación es muy céntrica y conveniente. El ambiente es único, y el personal es súper fresco y amable. El café tiene 10 / 10 — absolutamente perfecto! Fue una gran experiencia, Cloe y Jack fueron extremadamente serviciales. Sin duda volveré de nuevo! ¡Gracias!
