The best restaurants serving Seafood food in England

Had a day out in Brixham and called into the cafe for lunch with our two dogs,as it is dog friendly,we had fish and chips with a hot drink, couldn't fault it,good portions and nice piece of cod,and good service, definitely recommend.

Awful chips, shocking sausage in batter and no beans on the menu poor very poor will never return I feel 🤢 it was not like this a few months ago I assume it’s new owners

Dreadful cod fish, over battered and dry, I think it was cooked twice. Too many small chips. Overpriced very disappointing after going there for years. Dreadful.

The food was on point, authentic flavours from my travels, and took me back to good memories of nostalgia. Service was loving and family like. Would go back a hundred times over. X

The tea rooms are in a stunning location and make a great destination for a walk. We walked up from the car park in Lynmouth, it's a about 2 miles along the path. The walk was lovely along side the river which is a fast flowing stream. The path is challenging in places and a little rugid. But having a great destination drives you on. Great staff and good food. One highlight was seeing a Dipper (a small rare bird).

Food was ok, it was very very clean and the staff where very helpful and friendly. Definitely would come back. Great views of the sea.

I love this chippy is there chips and gravy are pretty nice but they can be abit overpriced but this chippy is definitely the food and I never had a issue

In Australia we have good food in pubs and clubs but expect exceptional food experiences in higher end restaurants. Un fortunately I ended up with pub food and my partner ended up with average tasting crab, but plenty of delicious chilli sauce. Best news was the cos or something in my salad was not past the use by date. It expires tomorrow

We had heard that there were new owners at this fish and chips and lots of positive comments Visited tonight and purchased fish and chips. Asked if they had any scampi - but was told it is not on the special menu. Now this is when I was impressed. They said let’s us just check and came back and said they could do some. All good quality, fresh and great test. Will defo return.

Went here because other outlets were good. This has to be the stingiest fish and chips shop ever. I ordered large chips and the portion was tiny. I ordered a small cod and it was half a fish. Chips dry and generally dehydrated and massively over priced. Once bitten twice shy. I will not return. Well below average.

Provided lovely food and the staff were friendly and efficient. There is plenty of parking as it is in an old railway siding.

Had been to Latimer’s pre-Covid. The crab soup was previously excellent, served in china bowls with all white meat and a good slug of whiskey. Not now. 🙁 Soup was served in a paper cup, it was mostly seafood stock with lots of big pieces of chopped onion?? and barely any crab. Because we ate it inside, five feet away from tables outside, we were charged 20% (VAT) more. The same excess charge was applied for incorrectly made coffee and sandwiches. I thought VAT was levied to cover the extra cost of waiter service, table cover and washing dishes etc. However all food was served in takeaway paper cups and bags 🙁 even the coffee and I had to collect all of it from the counter when it was made. The best reaction to this type of poor food and service is to not visit again.

Just had ‘fish’ and chips from Ocean View fish and chip shop, Ventnor. Fish was uneatable. Both the batter and fish were hard and greatly not worth the price. Terrible.

The t-shirt says it all-"Good Value, Good Service, Great Food!" What a find! Wonderful fish & chips. They're always busy. Come hungry!
