For a takeaway the food is excellent and the ppl are always nice

Brilliant local chip shop. People are friendly and they cook the majority of items fresh. Their fish and kebabs are well cooked and the salads are fresh and crisp. I've used this chip shop for more than 60 years as I was literally born in Alvechurch. It has changed owners a few times but each time the new owners make every effort to keep quality high. I've never had anything below excellent from them.

Woodhouse Fish Bar is spot on! The fish and chips are proper fresh and tasty, with good-sized portions that leave you well fed. The curry sauce is bang on too. The staff are sound and welcoming. Can’t go wrong with this place! A good tip the fryer guy gave me... phone your order through, save on waiting when it's busy 👌

Great tasting fish and chips. Always freshly cooked and huge portions. I visit, order and collect everytime. Friendly staff. Excellent value. Large and varied menue.

the order was not delivered. not the fault of the restaurant but the fault of the delivery driver. said the order had been cancelled then stole the food. just eat seriously need to check into their drivers. had to go to the restaurant to show it hadn't been delivered. very poor on just eats part

Worst fish and chips ever, clearly the oil needs changing as the batter on the fish was dark brown. Not the best taste. Would’ve returned it but live out of town.

Ordered a delivery which never came! About to call banks next as they aren't even answering phone calls. The new owners has really ruined this chippy now which has been around for years and years.

Came here yesterday and had an excellent cod & chips, I had a gluten free version and it was delicious! They even had gluten free vinegar for me. Really nice guy behind the counter that served us. Great place, would recommend

I called in to collect cod and chips for me and my wife it was very tasty the fish was gorgeous except for the BATTER it was very thick and completely SOGGY! please make it a bit thinner!!!
