Nice food, fairly priced, friendly staff

Absolutamente horrorizado por el servicio prestado por “back when events”. Reservado con meses de antelación por mi primo pequeño para mi 30 cumpleaños para el brunch sin fondo. ¿Literalmente días antes de la reserva llamaron y dijeron que el espacio que habíamos reservado a las 3 pm ya no nos facilitaba y ahora daban la hora de las 5 pm? ¿Para el almuerzo? Todo estaba arreglado, como el cuidado de los niños de amigos y familiares, mi cita de maquillaje y los últimos eventos de la noche. Me dijeron hace 10 días que mi depósito de £ 195 estaba siendo reembolsado debido a las molestias. No he escuchado ni una palabra de ellos junto con no recibir mi dinero. Estoy vívida. Nunca recomendaría y en realidad aconsejaría a la gente que no fuera.

The chips were excellent, the fish batter was just right and the fish wonderfully succulent. All very good.

First time been here had two cod and chips cooked perfet would recommend big portions very impressed thank you will be back

I've been going there for a few years but the food has steadily been going down in quality. Just had S&S Chicken balls that were hard and crusty, not fresh and hard chicken. The Beef & Mushroom had hardly any beef and far too many onions. I won't be giving them my custom any longer, they have had too many chances. They have also been conning us for ages with the 10p for a plastic bag that never should be happening as they only take cash anyway. You decide where the 10p goes...

Excellent customer service, fantastic value for money the best chippy around

this has to be the worst fish and chips ever. it was 7pm, the chips were old, dry and cold, inedible they fresh fried the fish yet is was mushy inside and so greasy, I could smell the old oil.. the batter was dark brown. Its nearly 1am and my stomach is so bad.. thank goodness I threw most of it away , a waste of £10.. will not be going thre again :(

Been visiting Whitleigh chippy for many years and never been disappointed. Good value and curry sauce to die for. Edwin and team can't be beaten in my opinion.

Grim. Half cold, small portions, greasy soggy chips. Avoid. There are much nicer chippies in the area

Fairly quiet as the hotel was quiet, lovely staff and great service, food was lovely, no complaints at all.

Drove into whitby specifically for a seafood fix but at 6.45pm was closed, says 8pm on opening hours on google, think they need updating, a bit gutted

Always order from here Have tried a few different dishes but not all of them . . "Yet" Always tend to get a few freebies with our orders, which always arrive hot not had a cold delivery yet. Only negative with New East Ocean is the delivery time can be around either 1 hour exactly or 1 Hour 10 ... Although I have never had a cold delivery or had an order delivered wrong.

Excellent fish and chips. Friendly staff. This was my third visit to Fish R Us and the quality of food and level of service has remained high on each occasion.
