We called in to The Little Fish and Chip shop for our supper after spending a lovely afternoon in Southwold, we have been here many times, once again we had delicious fish n chips and my favourite fish cake, excellent quick service. Thank you for remembering us from the summer!!

This restaurant is a gem, located with an amazing harbour view. The service was amazing and the food exquisite. A very good menu and the food was cooked to perfection. The ambience is relaxing and comfortable, exceptionally clean. Attention to detail was second to none. Could not rate this restaurant highly enough- thank you for a lovely evening.

Really nice dinner here. Took fish and chips to a whole new level. The tempura prawns were brilliant and twice cooked chips very good. Cod balls were insanely good. Prices reasonable and good selection of beers. Decor and atmosphere really chilled. Staff friendly and quick to help. Would deffo eat here agin.

Pop in end of November mega impressed £14 for a 1 massive portion of cod and chips what stuffed me and my girlfriend well. Totally fresh lovely fish and super crispy batter and really nice chips. Definitely recommend

Our visit to bakery on the water was very enjoyable, staff were nice and coffee and pastries were great, would definitely recommend!

We came to Shoals for my Mum's birthday lunch. The food was excellent, beautifully cooked and was delicious. Excellent attentive service and all in a lovely location, you really couldn't pick a restaurant closer to the sea. I would highly recommend Shoals and will definitely be going back again.

Food and service was excellent and prices are reasonable comparing to other places where I been to I will definitely visit again and recommend my friends to visit

On this occasion we fancied fish and chips so we both had the haddock fillet with chips. Obviously quite a bit more expensive than the local chippies but it was as good fish and chips as we ever have - really generous portion of haddock, beautifully fried in a light, crispy batter. It made up for a not perfect meal in our last visit. We are happy to go back frequently in the future. One very minor negative; they had quite a few zero/low alcohol drinks but no low alcohol cider

Henri was an amazing waiter and made the evening really special. Will definitely come again because of him. The food was terrific.

This is a fantastic chip shop. My husband had fish and chips and I had battered sausage and they were excellent. Not to greasy and great portion size. Will definitely return

Excellent fish & chips again tonight, fish was fresh & delicious, batter was crisp, chips were just as they should be. 5*
