The best restaurants serving Thai food in South East

Cannot recommend Thai Pinto highly enough. We only found out about this gorgeous restaurant last week as we live in Cobham and were not aware of this little gem until a friend recommended it to us. As a person suffering with Coeliac disease my options are so limited on where I can eat, also where I can trust as I have to be extremely careful with cross contamination. When I called ahead to order a takeaway the lady was so attentive and extremely helpful , she also made sure the kitchen were fully aware of my requirements. The food arrived via a delivery driver who was so lovely , such a friendly guy - and the food was absolutely delicious . It arrived hot and was the best tasting Thai I’ve had for a very long time! Thank you Thai Pinto for a wonderful meal - thoroughly recommend and we will most certainly be eating with you again!

I don't report on first time experiences as I like to get the feel of a place over time. This was our third visit for a group of six and we enjoyed the food and service on all three occasions. The staff aren't the usual fake smile and pushy waiters you get in some places, but are serious and attentive at the right times, like the old style butlers, while leaving time for perusal of the menu, and not trying to collect the plates before everyone has finished. One of our group has dietary problems and the waiter went to the kitchen to confirm that a particular dish did not contain things they were allergic to, and were happy to provide hot water for one of the party to brew their own herbal tea. All of us have enjoyed our food on all three occasions. Poppadoms and chutneys to start, 6 main meals with either various rices or bangbang potatoes, plus 1 naan, 4 glasses of wine, three soft drinks, 1 tea, 4 coffees, £121.33 including 10% service charge, but we rounded up to £130 as we had enjoyed the food.

Not sure what's going on at Menu Thai right now as I seem to be running into issues with them actually picking up the phone to take orders. I really like this restaurant, but this is really testing one's loyality...

The food was best Thai food I have had on the island and I have a Thai wife who can really cook. Very friendly service and staff who appreciated me ordering in broken Thai very kind and amenable would definitely recommend

Excellent authentic Thai. Very tasty, great portions and good value. Service very good too. We were visiting Hampton Court and just popped in for dinner. It didn’t disappoint. As a lover of Thai food this hit the spot. Staff all very attentive.

A little Gem of a Thai restaurant. We were wandering around on Christmas eve and found by accident. Absolutely first class Service exceptional and the food just as good Mixed starter for 2 was superb Followed by Kao Pad and a Gang Keowan Pad 2 really lovely dishes. Without a doubt we will be returning and that will be sooner rather than later. Fully recommend you give it a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Food and service were good but the portions were a bit small

Have visited in the past as a couple and the food has always been lovely. Yesterday visited with some friends as a table of 7 and the food and service was just as good! Definitely the best Thai food around the area! Will be back :)

I went inside to collect my food and order and waited inside... when I got home and tried it I have to say it's the best Indian food I have ever had you can tell it's really been cooked properly and the ingredients have been really thought about. Highly recommend!
