The best restaurants serving Turkish food in England

Placed an order through uber eats app, was advised order would be delivered in 25-35 mins. An hour later called them as no tracking information listed on app and was told order left 10 mins prior, 30 mins later it still hadn’t arrived. Called them again and they pretended to speak to their driver and proceeded to tell me it’s nearby and will be 2-3 mins. Another hour past and still nothing. I waited over 2 hours for my delivery and it has never arrived. It’s not exactly a busy night, nor was it a big order and I have now wasted £30! I have no idea what it’s like for collection or the quality of food as we didn’t get it but I wouldn’t waste any time placing a delivery with them. Bad customer service and Just lying to us and fobbing us off. I should have read the other reviews on this place before I ordered and I wish I had as seems to be a common issue with them not fulfilling uber eats orders and then not answering their phone. If they can’t fulfil their customers requests they shouldn’t be allowed to operate on uber!

Called to make an order which we were unsure of, asked this lady what she would recommend for chicken - shish or doner and she replied ‘ I don’t care just pick one ‘ in the rudest manner, have been a customer of there many times now but not going there again. Just damn right rude !

Best meat I’ve ever tasted. So tender it really does melt in your mouth and the flavour is wonderful. Staff are very nice but some people may find certain things too invasive for their liking.

Exceptionally good This is our 7th or 8th visit. Staff are so welcoming and go above and beyond. Service is on point Good and drink are superb. We have 2 gluten free in our party that are catered for so well with such amazing fresh food Atmosphere is brilliant too. We have been with all adults and had a lovely evening. And we have been with our little kids too. The staff welcome us no matter what. Cannot fault them.

I would love to be able to review the actual food but unfortunately after 3 hours and multiple phone calls it did not arrive until 30 minutes after we called and cancelled and started cooking....

Went to TK on Saturday 11th January '25 as a pre-theatre treat. Hadn't booked but got a table at 5pm Food - fresh & excellent Service - attentive, but not too "present". Nice buzz of atmosphere, although a chilly blast from the open door, but it was freezing weather so hard to avoid. Can't wait to go back

Very yummy and the 2 courses for £18.99 is a good deal for decent sized portions. A tad cold inside the restaurant though, crank the thermostat up a couple of degrees perhaps?

Been here for my birthday weekend and I must say the food is delicious and the service was top quality, I’ve been here before and loved going here. Will definitely be back for sure!

Just a relaxing place to dine service was great too

So good. Beautiful, clean good quality food. So tasty and value for money. So much better than any greasy kebab place in the West End. Recommended to me buy a Turkish guy I know so definitely authentic too.

Customary wonderful food together with exemplary, cheerful service. Starters (mixed maze and sauteed liver) were both superb and main courses (meaty including et sote) even better. Booze is keenly priced too.
