Super delicious place! I was reluctant to try this for awhile, mostly because of the price but I think the Egg Banh Mi is the best sandwich I’ve ever had and I’m addicted 💖 Matcha Blend is also delicious, very happy they do Matcha 🍵 I think it would be good if they baked their own bread and would really elevate it to the next level, but I understand the space is too small. Definitely would be cool if they eventually open a bigger place and improved the atmosphere, maybe one day.

This Vietnamese restaurant never disappoints me! The food and service are consistently excellent, even though I usually stick to my favourite dishes. 👍 Highly recommend booking in advance to secure a table. The average cost for two is around £50-£60, excluding alcohol—great value for such quality!

It's a dependable BYO affordable Viet. Not as refined as some of their competitors on Kingsland Road, but the portions are large compared to other places so good when you are with a group. Some dishes are better than others. Dishes I would order again are salt and pepper squid, char grilled lambchops, chilli and lemongrass tofu, the aubergine starter with fish sauce, steamed rolls, stir fried aubergine with pork, green papaya salad with prawns, yuk sung, char grilled goat. Dishes I would skip in the future are the whole fried fish (too difficult to fillet), Vietnamese pancakes (greasy), Vietnamese fried pork cake (bland), satay (not cooked over charcoal), duck with pancake, cucumber & spring onions (dry). We had a large meal for four that came to £112. We brought a bottle of wine from Sainsbury's across the road. Corkage is £2 a head. Be warned that Tay Do take cash only. There is are two ATM's across the street--one at the Sainsbury's and the other at the organic supermarket.

We dined a few times when everyone else was closed; they serve standard Kingsland road fare; many dishes are definitely not cooked fresh - taste like re-heated meals. Not to mention a wrong charges issue. Lesson: don't leave it late.
