Lovely food in a no fuss manner

Lunch today, nice and quiet as 11 45 , so not many in and meals good portions staff very friendly and obliging as requested extra serviettes. Prices good only one problem salt was wet but would still go back as I use too much salt anyway and I could have asked for another salt seller. Have 6friends who lunch for each other’s birthdays so will suggest going here.

Within Whickham's Community Gardens located off Whickham Highway is this "hidden gem" of a cafe. Great coffee, delicious cakes with a good selection to choose from. Friendly staff in a warm and welcoming environment. I'm looking forward to a return visit.

Lovely lunch at Ask Italian. We both had pasta mains which were good potion size and tasty, fettuccine bolognese and carbonara. Deserts good too. Quick and polite service from Steven.

Food was ok not worth the cost .

After a difficult week, neither of us could be bothered to cook so at the last minute we decided to go for a meal at The Village Kitchen. So glad we did, it was lovely, the food was delicious snd the service excellent. The lady who served us (I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was so kind, she genuinely made my day, thank you. It's easy to forget the impact a kind gesture can make, until you're on the receiving end of it. Thank you x

I ordered from here for the first time on my daughter's recommendation. We got the set meal for 2 and was generally very impressed. The delivery was quick, under half an hour. The set meal was mostly very tasty, it was nice to try some new things. However the chicken pathia was far too hot for us. The chicken itself was lovely and tender, but the sauce was so spicy, I couldn't eat it and lost most of my rice too. It wouldn't put me off ordering again, but only if you could swap the pathia for something milder.

Usual starbucks setup, but one thing that makes it stand out are the staff always really happy and friendly whether busy or not.

Some of the best coffee you can get on the high-street. A lovely, warm atmosphere offers a welcome reprieve from the hustle of the metro centre outside.

Lovely food, good quality and good value for money.

Almost a 2 hour wait for food, just keep adjusting the time and setting it later and later so you can’t complain that it was late!
