Came for a family meal. 12 of us looking forward to food which was advertised online and on the menu until 5pm. At 4:30pm we were told that the kitchen had closed. Constant confrontation and aggressiveness from the management and staff when we questioned this. Poor front of house staff. Threatening of being barred if we questioned the timings.

Just tried this fir the first time . WOW WOW WOW . Got the Licuous double mash burger. Came with 4 x 3Ounce patties. Has to be the most delicious burger I have ever tasted beautiful flavour and the fries are cooked really well nice & crispy fries . The sauces are amazing too. And sooo resonanably priced . A credit to them for this fine Establishment. One of the best burger & Phily Steaks places to eat local to the North East 👍

Nice food and nice customer service

I have been going to this pub for a while, and it’s great because it attracts a diverse crowds 👍. and the staff are spot-on. I've had the food here before, and the breakfasts have always been decent. However, today I arrived a bit late and decided to order JD Wethersooon’s “Pub Classics” fish and chips instead. After all, a picture tells a thousand words….!

Had an amazing experience at Akbar's Restaurant! The Mix Grill was the star of the show — perfectly grilled, juicy, and bursting with authentic flavors. Every bite was a delight! Huge credit to the starter chef for nailing the seasoning and texture. The Chicken Tikka Garlic Balti was rich, aromatic, and packed with bold spices. If you love pure Asian food, this place is a must-visit!

Had such a wonderful meal here this evening. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was gorgeous, I had Chicken Karahi which was recommended by our waiter. It was delicious, such a rich and deep flavour. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends.

Dining here was a treat for the senses. The food was not only delicious but beautifully presented, making every dish a visual delight.

I ordered from here last week and loved the food, hot on delivery and really tasty. This week I thought I'd try a starter, salt and pepper chicken... I literally received 4 pieces of battered chicken with a load of peppers and onions. For £6.50 a portion this is not acceptable. The chicken from the salt and pepper chicken that I did get was tasteless. Really disappointed as the curry (yellow chicken & fried rice is really tasty)
