The best restaurants in Denton North East Tameside North West

I visited here on Saturday to celebrate a birthday. It is a nice place and the food is great.

Really impressed with the service and quality of food,prices very competitive too.

What a rip off… half order missing and then they have no phone lines open to call and speak to them. Do not use!

The Footage has unfortunately closed down however I am writing this review as a tribute to the business. This year was my first time coming to Footage and I am sad I didn't know about it sooner. Cheap Drinks and Food with plenty of excitement. Our friend group would go every Tuesday for Karaoke and it became a tradition. In between Uni lectures, there was nowhere better to go. Sometimes the place was booming with life from all the sport games being placed. Other times it was relaxed and calm for casual conversation. When I informed our group of Footage closing down, we were all upset as it had become such a routine for us to go to. The people we met, the people we sang with. We shall miss you Footage. First time here and whilst I may visit again, it won’t be during cold months and it won’t be my first choice. The atmosphere of the place was good, they had a nice vibe of music on but also Sky Sports on the tv’s. The staff were friendly enough if you could grab their attention. The building itself was very cold and lacked any heating, I ate with my coat on and I point blank refused to eat with my hat on but I was close to doing that, if I wanted to eat a burger wrapped up I’d do it in a McDonalds car park for a fraction of the price. Our food was similar to something from Wetherspoon’s, just more expensive. The temperature of the food was mixed, as burger patty was warm, the shredded chicken in BBQ on my burger was cold, and the fries were extremely hot, although my onion rings were edible they were slightly hard, although it didn’t help as everything arrived at different times. Menu could’ve been more clearer as to what you get or don’t get with your choice of order. They don’t sell alcohol, which I don’t mind, just adding for review. We didn’t try any of the desserts, although what I seen delivered to another table they did look well presented and of a decent portion size. I would suggest viewing other local restaurants altogether if it’s a burger you’re after maybe give it a go here, there’s plenty of space and seating available.

Probably the best Greggs for choice, service and cleanliness. Brilliant.

The Waiter we had was fantastic!! Great customer service, was humorous with our child making her laugh. Her comment was “he is really nice nana friendly” We was in between 5pm-7pm 18/01/24 He needs a raise!

Went for a little snack just to try the place out. Good first impression. The waffle was delicious and the coffee and hot chocolate were good.

Went in today and it was chaos . The assistant didnt offer me a choice of size of coffee just automatically gave me a medium size which I couldnt drink. When I questioned this the assistant just shrugged and was dismissive . No apology. Then she stormed out frim behind the counter shouting at a guy who had sat in a seat that happened to be in front of the fire exit . She raised her voice in a very confrontational manner having a go at the customer. The chairs were situated in front of the fire exit so the man didnt know he was blocking the exit. The chairs should not have been near it but theyvwere cramming so many in that it was impossible for this poor man to avoid blocking the exit. The assistant was very rude to him . Will never go in there again !!

I go Nandos twice a week its me and my partner favourite place to eat, I can easily say i spent thousands at Nandos but wont go any Nandos ever again. I went on Saturday evening have made my usual order that i know by heart and paid my usual £39.65 and asked the lady if its possible for me to get the Lemon and Herb mayonnaise i know its not in the menu but i get it in every Nandos i go too as its my partner favourite sauce. The lady said she will ask the manager , I get approached by this manager with very unprofessional attitude and i say that because he didnt try to hide that he was stressing for whatever reason he was stressing. saying we cant be giving this sauce to customers its not on the list and all the managers that gave it me in the past are wrong and they shouldn’t have. I said am not here to cause any problem i am a regular at nandos i spent a lot of money into this place am being polite explaining to you that this is the favourite sauce to my partner and she likes to come Nandos so she enjoy the sauce she like. Manager still said no I felt like at this point the manager is just being stubborn he seems lil bit stressed maybe because the place was busy am not sure i asked for his name think he said its Arron. Then when i get serviced my food the chips were cold for both me and my partner that i didnt even eat and i didnt feel like speaking to a manager because there is no point of explaining anything to him as he will just dismiss your opinion or what you want as a customer. Very disappointed that I got treated in that way being a very loyal customer to the franchise however after the recent treatment by this manager Arron i will definitely not go Nandos again certainly not one in Denton.

Nice spot, good Ambiente and really clean! The stuff is really nice. The Hostel is Great for solo travellers cause it’s very social:)

Best sandwich in Shaw, fresh ingredients and made to order. Hot food all homemade Friendly staff and quick service every time.

We always receive lovely food from Ho Ho in Denton. The food is always fresh and hot when it arrives. The staff are all very friendly, including those delivering. Definitely recommend if you are local to the area.

My wife, my brother and I went there at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday (the opening hours on TripAdvisor state they are open from 7:00 a.m.) and they were closed. The sign said they open at 8:00 so that was a total waste of time. I had deliberately looked for an early morning opening since we needed to get to my Uncle's funeral. We were very disappointed. We did not want to go to the nearby McDonald's if we could help it, but we were able to find another breakfast location for lorry drivers that opened at 7:00 a.m. just by chance.
