Huge plates of revolting cold food. Worst food ever

Dined there last night fir friends birthday. Food was amazing, I had the special lamb Koriah....superb. The naan bread was the best I have tasted. My friend enjoyed her Chicken Korma. Price unbelievable. Service slow, but really nice staff. Overall 5 stars will definitely come again xx

Ate here a few times can't argue with the food was great Had my family over this new year and fancied a Chinese takeaway on new years day we spent £62 on 3 mains and a couple of sides,also some chips !! Guys don't know whats going on it's the worst takeaway iv ever had !! I've lived here 4yrs I'm not one to complain ,I pre ordered this so it was an hr before we picked it up,it was not even warm the chips were horrendous like they were reheated on a few occasions, the duck was more than crispy and the the chow mein was very gloopy. Guys that was hard earned money fir an absaloutly bad takeaway Might have been a bad evening for the chef but it was expensive for us As I say iv never had a problem before

Two staff members were whispering and Sniggering at my partner and were extremely rude. Terrible level of customer service.

Quaint old place, always a chilled atmosphere, fab on winter nights with a roaring fire going.

Super meal as always. The seafood pancake was fabulous and the mushroom Wellington delicious, as was the chicken and sea bass. The only downside, on this very cold day, is that we were so cold. It was in the afternoon and maybe the heating wasn't on but we were all chilly. Great place, reasonably priced and fantastic food. Totally recommend

Called in for lunch without booking on the Sunday before Christmas. There was no problem finding us a table and the service, atmosphere and food were fantastic. Definitely prepared to order and great portions. Highly recommend

We booked the Christmas Package what can I say ? Room was nice modern but so hot it was like the amazon. We had the window open all night to no avail, food very disappointing, seriously poor 34 pounds for a bottle of wine that we sent back it was so bad. Should have had christmas lunch in weatherspoons. Sort it out Golden Fleece, tired and mediocre at best.

Had a takeaway last night which was ordered to be collected by 8.30pm. On arrival money taken but food did not get cooked for another 45 minutes. Therefore pick up time was not adhered to. During waiting staff was unable to do offer the service that was booked. All the food once received tasted the same. Not good quality at all. The cost of this did not represent the quality of the food or the service. Avoid if you expect a nice pleasent experience

What I got for £115 per night?? Well we arrived and had to park out back, pitch black no lighting car nearly got stuck in mud and me and my partner had to walk through mud and puddles upon getting out of car. Went in as soon as we got in the room we noticed a tile on the wall that had split down the middle and was hanging off wall, very dangerous and not what you want to see as soon as you arrive. The ceiling in bathroom was all cracked, the skylight looked to be falling in and debris had came through. Milks that were for cup of tea had gone sour, no tea spoons to even stir our tea with. Overall room was shabby and dated but the worst thing was the noise, the walls are like paper. I could hear my neighbors using the toilet and even putting the kettle on. Me and my partner got no sleep we were so disappointed that when we got up we went for breakfast early so we could get on the road, only to be told that breakfast was 9.30 In the room it says breakfast is served 8-10 and we were not told the night before it would be later. We didn’t go for breakfast, we got straigh on the road. Would definitely not recommend Poor service Poor rooms Very overpriced You will see below the owner say this is not a factual review. Everything in this review is factual regarding what time I got on the road is being petty. I’m sorry you don’t like my review but it is true there is nothing in it that is untrue. When you can hear your neighbor urinating that’s a big issue and definitely gives me enough reason to question the price per night rate.

Absolutely amazing isn’t even enough praise for how good everything was from the moment we stepped in- service from the man was incredible on the 24/10.

Thank you Akbardarbar for an incredible tasting take away last night. Friends from Whitby travel to Guisborough for your food. We ordered extra meals last night as they took some home with them to freeze. The meals all arrived on time, hot and absolutely delicious. Thank you for the poppadoms.
