As they say, real people, real food. The Sunday roast was delicious, in really generous portions and very fairly priced. We felt welcome and well looked after. 5 all round. A no-nonsense genuine traditional pub with a sports theme and plenty of screens if that is your thing.
I had been to a party previously where they had done the buffet
I was really impressed with the quality of the food so decided to have them for mine
The price was excellent value the selection of foods and cakes was also amazing and of course the communication was also 100%
Thank you so much

So many pubs have gone Gastro, been Gentrified or have been refurbished to suit a 'trendy' market. Not the New Inn though thank goodness. This is a traditional British Village Pub, focussed on providing well kept beer by a genial landlord who interacts with his customers really well even though he may never have met them before. The locals are just as friendly; they welcome a chat with you about anything under the sun. The food offering is really good basic pub grub - no Jus here - with a limited menu which majors on burgers and extremely good steaks. Food volume and cost are both outstanding - with the former you get a lot, with the latter you pay very little. Long may the New Inn thrive and prosper, keep up the good work Landlord!
Amazing coffee, amazing staff, amazing town with very nice people. I had a fantastic time there overall.
However, reception is poor in Bishampton town and inside the shop or any buildings you might not be able to make any calls, send messages, or make online payments without network interruptions. I really hope the relevant authorities can improve mobile phone network reception in the area.
Also if you plan on using a debit card at the village shop/post office to pay for coffee and other items, it might not work for some reason. It’s the single most painful experience I had to endure since I had to look for another post office to withdraw cash.
Been going to this fish and chip shop my whole life and we have missed since it shut from a fire. It’s back and even better than before. Warm and friendly staff and great food
Stopped in to the Serenity Tea Room while on holiday in Bridlington. My wife and I were chuffed with the excellent service and delicious sandwiches that we enjoyed. The mocha and cappuccino were equally delicious. What impressed us the most was the teamwork by the married couple who are the proprietors as well as chef and servers. We definitely intend to return there next time that we visit the area.
I visit this place regularly, the food is great, the staff are great! If you are local to Derby or Nottingham or are going to the airport, you have to swing by and grab a cake or a breakfast!
I am so glad this place is back to what it is. Post-covid they tried just being a deli and a grocers and the whole of lutterworth missed it. There is nowhere else for us that matches it. The food today was as good as ever, the ultimate breakfast sandwich defeated both that attempted it and we spent a few bob after browsing the fine foods shelf. We've missed you guys and whenever we are back I'm the area we love a quick visit. We did have to wait a little today (which we were warned to be fair). Negative for me today , my latte was with not particularly nice coffee and had quite an amount of coffee grounds in the bottom.
This will definitely not stop us from revisiting
We called for breakfast having not visited for many years . The food and drinks were excellent. We were greeted by the owner like we’d visited yesterday. Basically, warm and welcoming , great service and lovely food and drink . Couldn’t recommend anywhere more highly .
This remains a superb place to visit and eat. Especially love the paintings on the wall by supremely talented local artists. Bring culture to rural outposts.
Great food, excellent value, friendly and helpful owner and staff.
Best little cafe in Lincoln. Hidden Gem. Quality of ingredients superb and far better than you’d get for a much higher price elsewhere
