The battered chips are worth every penny!

Shameful. Wife has been ill so wanted to get some hot food on a Sunday. Their web site states Sunday hours and their home page states "open until 9.30pm" How difficult is it to advertise the correct opening hours??? A complete waste of time and effort to drive there!!!!

very late order so quality of the sandwich was really poor, it was prepared an hour in advance. the crew who I spoke with didn’t do anything about it but instead she insisted its not her fault because I did not order in person but through the app so I should expect the quality of the sandwich to be poor. rider changed three times according to the crew from subway who can track the delivery guy. it wasn’t the last and third rider’s fault but at least subway should do something to compensate!!

Poor service by Sarah the manager. Absolutley stingy with sauce and the egg given. On the advertisement it says eggs. Plural meaning more than 1! So the fact she thinks it’s acceptable to half 1 egg and try passing it off as eggs is a joke. Also tried to rob me off my NHS discount. Had much much better service by the staff there. Think the manager needs to be trained by them on how to serve customers.

2 lots of ribs ordered & 1 chips/1 rice. My friends BBQ ribs were already cut and looked lovely. Her chips were nice and hot. My peri peri ribs weren't cut and looked like they hadn't been marinated but just had the peri peri sauce poured over them. My friend said her ribs were lovely, the meat was lovely & tender. Mine were hard & dry. The meat was stringy and they they didn't taste fresh. My plain boiled rice just had a small bit of peri peri sauce on the top.

Fast food and good quality. Fast service and very friendly. To visit often if you are in a hurry for lunch.

UK fish bar has gone downhill of late, used to be really good here, but prices have shot up, £27.50 for 2 portions of cod & chips!! Will only consider eating here as a special treat in future, no longer viable to eat here very often, same for all chippies in Witham really. NB dont use the food delivery companys, they will charge you an extra £5 at least, even this shops own website gives you 10% off your order, but the prices are up 10% already!

Lunch time and didn't want to use the typical chain pastries places. Google to the rescue and soon was here and ordering. Both had baguettes that happened to be freshly made while we waited, no more than a couple of minutes. Has a very fast service but with more personality than your normaly sandwich shops. Very reasonable price, quick and tasty. For lunch, it's a no-brainer.

We came for a takeaway (2x cod and chips, a couple of kids meals, half a chicken and some chips and sausages) It was a bit pricey for a takeaway but the service was good and the food was hot and nice. I wouldn't go out of my way there again but I was in the area I'd consider it again

Edit: I have to edit this review because they frequently get our orders wrong admittedly sometimes its as simple as cheese on a burger that we asked for no cheese on and other times its as bad as the complete desserts and drinks missing, and it takes a long time for delivery. They don't keep note of the errors so when you ring back to tell them when you order again, they don't have recollection. Great place to visit would be a solid 4.5, but avoid. delivery during busy periods. Delivery let's it down to a still reasonable 3 The food is very good but it does get very busy which can cause things to slip a bit (even then it's still a very good meal.)

Not very good the subs came with not all the salad both cold surly driver left front gate open not amused!!
