The best restaurants in England

The food is absolutely delicious here and Elsworth Kitchen has now become a regular place I visit when taking my father out for afternoon lunch. The service and atmosphere is excellent and the young waitress who has serviced us the last few times including today 12th of Aug needs recognising (didn’t catch her name sadly). She is attentive, professional and always a pleasure to have a conversation with. Just a shame you don’t open Sunday too!

So cozy. Super fast and friendly service. Food was delicious and not overpriced. Breakfast foods served until 2:30 so no rush required. Would definitely recommend!!

Excellent high quality food from a wide ranging menu which was both delicious and well presented. The service was courteous and helpful in terms of choosing the most suitable dishes. The atmosphere and decor were particularly nice, as was the live music played on this Friday evening.

Second time having breakfast at The Pines for me, third for my mum and brother with whom I come on holiday to lovely Filey. I can see how the local older folk love this little cafe but you don't have to be old to appreciate its charm or indeed a good, reasonably priced English breakfast. Malcolm is a great host with his cheeky banter!

What a Jewell in Camberley’s crown. Had a girly catch up brunch, and the setting was perfect. Sue, our waitress was fantastic! We asked for menu recommendations and she was spot on with the delicious meals we received. She also checked on us for refills and was fun and friendly! Highly recommend!

arrived at 3:50. told last orders were at 4. Quickly tried to order coffee and cakes. Rudely told that the cakes had been moved to the kitchen and we could only have coffee.

Fantastic dining experience! Don’t be put off by the confusing menu as the server explains everything and recommends when to have each dish. Food heaven!!!

Warmly greeted by Iain. His singing and the ambience light and cheerful. I had the 18 hole breakfast which was delightful and the coffee was hot just how I like it. I would definitely recommend and eat here again.

This restaurant takes the word 'authentic' to quite a new level! I'm sure we've all eaten in restaurants which say they provide an "authentic taste of......" but Manju's not only offers authentic regional indian cooking but also has the courage to take you away from the familiar english version of indian cookery to the kind of flavours and dishes you might actually expect in Gujarat, all freshly prepaired by someone who clearly knows what they're doing. If you want chicken tikka masarla then this is not the place for you. An experience not to be missed.

Had the most fun afternoon making Christmas Gelato. Wonderful workshop facilitated by expert Georgia for whom nothing, absolutely nothing, was too much trouble. Can honestly say this was a great afternoon that I won’t forget. And came away with Raffaelo ice cream for Christmas Day - although I seriously doubt it will last until then!

Six of us went here today for a Christmas lunch. All three courses were really good. The game pie I had as a main was delicious. The staff were very friendly, food arrived hot & the service was very good. Highly recommend going here.

Always go here when wanting lunch to go in Ormskirk. Staff are so friendly, the bagels (lots of different types) are great - and the salt beef bagel is amazing! Highly recommend

First time here. Visited on a Monday night, no reservation made. We were warmly greeted and seated. Tried 3 dishes, chicken rogan, chicken jalfriezi and a naga chicken. Accompanied with pilau rice and naan. Absolutely delicious food. Each dish was different and very tasty. Lovely presentation. The restaurant is like a tardis. It seems much bigger on the inside. Great service throughout. Finally, they give a discount on food on a Monday. Bonus! Now we have found the best in the area we will be back. Looking forward to visiting again. Thank you.

I have been here before, and always had excellent food and service. I had the Christmas Dinner Pie, which had turkey, pigs in blankets and stuffing. Probably the best pie I've ever tasted. I had baileys cheesecake and clotted cream ice cream for pudding. Highly recommend.
