Just come home after a weekend staying at the Anzac Street b&b, great location located in the centre of Dartmouth, the service was excellent and the breakfast was really nice. Would definitely recommend.

What an absolutely amazing experience for my Birthday. Stunning location and atmosphere with truly brilliant staff who were all so friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Food was out of this world and the Ugly Butterfly should definitely have a Michelin Star. If you love amazing food and delicious wines, I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you again to everyone for making my Birthday truly memorable.

I can concur with other reviewers comments regarding the poor customer service. I did not physically enter the shop, but having visited it a few years ago, and having a sister and her family living close by, I though it would be a great idea to buy a gift voucher from the shop for my sister's Christmas present. Using Messenger, I finally got a response saying they would be happy to help me with a voucher and even suggested how that could be accomplished. 10 days later, and multiple ignored messages from me, I gave up. I was completely ignored and I KNOW that they had read my messages. Seems like this shop can afford to turn its back on an easy £100 sale.

My wife and I enjoyed lunch and dinner here before staying overnight and if one word is needed to sum up this place it would be 'charming'. The location is charming, the building is charming and all the staff are charming. Linda is a lovely hostess and instantly makes you feel at home. The facilities are spotless and the prices are very reasonable. Particular mention goes to the chef. Not only is the food absolutely delicious and exquisitely presented but it is always piping hot. Already planning a return trip and stay.

Lovely setting. Charming interior as well as charismatic and charming host. Prix D’Ami lunch for two which was delightful. Thoroughly enjoyable and well worth visiting.

Went here for the first time as a family, cafe is lovely as were the staff, unfortunately some of the food we ordered wasn't the standard I would of expected after reading the reviews.

Delicious food and wine. Found the food really filling too - we ordered 4 small plates, 2 medium, and 2 large between 2 of us. Lovely, friendly service the whole time.

We’ve arrived and from the look outside were a bit concerned as the restaurant looked like a lot of kabab shops but looks may be deceiving It was five of us, we came in for a late lunch - the waiter was very friendly and took as much time as needed to help us with making our mind The starters were good but not as good as the mains, the tzatziki certainly was the star of the starters but to be honest if we knew the sizes of the main dishes we would have skipped the starters. When we got the mains is where we really enjoyed the food from the quality sausages to kebab skewers which were delicious, the portions are very generous - my Mezze platter was bang on from flavours to the amount of food. Everyone, including my daughters that don’t like everything - loved the meal We were very positively surprised to the point that we had to at least try a bit of the pudding which was also very good My recommendation, first go and dine there especially if you like Greek food or for that matter any Mediterranean food and then skip the starters

What a gem of a place. Gorgeous cosy place with a great vibe. The food is totally delicious and reasonably priced. Three of us shared a numerous selection of savoury dishes comprising meat, fish, veggie, veg, salad, bread, 2 desserts to share, a beer and a good botte of wine. Very imaginative menu. Came out at £40 per head excluding tip and worth every penny. Can't wait to return, restored our faith in dining out. Superb. Oh, and the dauphinoise potatoes were the best we've ever had.

It was a bit quiet when we went between Christmas and New Year. Monica, our server, was attentive, instructive and funny. 'Don't sip the vodka, down in one!'. And whoever was in the kitchen knew what they were doing too. Now that we know where it is, we'll definitely be back.

Tuvimos el salmón ahumado con panqueques Avo y espárragos y ambos estaban impecables. Solía dirigir un servicio de brunch en un restaurante y así que aprecio la cocina perfecta, el momento, el condimento y la presentación de todo. El salmón ahumado era de una calidad increíble, avo perfectamente condimentado y los espárragos cocinados perfectamente. Generosas porciones en general, combos de sabor y las tortitas estaban deliciosos. 11 / 10 ! No puedo esperar a volver ya. Hermoso interior, y los propietarios y el personal son solo una delicia, tan amable - no puedo recomendar lo suficientemente alto. Mirando las tortitas dulces que salían de la cocina volveré para probar todo el menú. : ) Gran café también. Nuevo favorito en Durham. Una joya absoluta de un lugar. Tan lindo. x
