The best restaurants serving Brasserie food in England

Had an excellent meal at The Plateau. It was a little difficult to find above Waitrose, but once there we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. My wife is celiac so they made every effort to make sure her needs were taken care of. The quality of the food was very high, tasty and cooked to perfection. The ambience of the restaurant is very pleasant, particularly on the balcony overlooking the square. Finally they treated my daughter to a birthday surprise at the end, which was totally unexpected and a lovely touch. We will definitely be going back and I'd thoroughly recommend this little gem to anybody.

Disgusting behaviour by management refusing entry to Basil, the Chelsea legend. Edit: The owners have now replied stating that I Have been rude and abusive to their staff, which I can absolutely, categorically deny and would love to see the evidence of this. I have a huge amount of love and respect for every sentient being and will now be taking legal action for defamation unless their statement is removed within 7 days.

Super local pub with friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Good selection of beers and lots of screens to watch footie. You can even play darts and pool! Large beer garden outside 🍻

We celebrated our sons birthday here yesterday and had the set menu. It was delicious and we all enjoyed the experience of cooking our own food and trying new flavours.

I got scammed by the pool table and I was very disappointed by the service and never got my money back I wouldn't recomend yo go there for anything

Urban Pitta advertises vegan certified options. They even have a Veganuary ad going around at the moment. It turns out they cook all of the vegan options in with the meat. when questioned on this they stated, "we do not have enough space for two grills, but the oil gets cleaned Mondays and Fridays"... I explained you can't label food as vegan if it's cooked in with meat, let alone advertise a specific vegan menu, and the response I got was, "well don't order here again then, people don't know and don't care". (Stated by the manager, to whom I spoke to after dealing an incredible rude and immature staff member who stated themselves they don't care and repetitively hung up) AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU ARE VEGGIE OR VEGAN.

Moved to leyland recently and tried many Indians and none of them compare to Mumbai. Big portions and great tasting food all round! Highly recommend

We had an absolutely wonderful evening. There’s nothing I could fault. From the food to the service to the atmosphere, everything was 10/10! The black cod was definitely the highlight of the night. The softest fish I’ve ever had that completely melts in your mouth. The coco mixed grill was brilliant and so were all the starters. The calamari definitely stood out and we couldn’t stop eating it! The service is absolutely spot on and the staff were extremely efficient in clearing away tables. They were all very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is beautiful with views of the tower bridge. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the atmosphere was brilliant. Cannot fault a thing! They are also fully Halal with no alcohol on site which is amazing 🤩
