The best restaurants serving British food in St James's City of London, Westminster London

I have lived in London for 6 years and I can honestly say this is the worst burger I have eaten since moving here. Dry, cold chips, I had to reorder twice as the items on the menu were so limited/ out of stock. Dry bun- I could go on. I was eating for the sake of curing my own hunger, which is the last thing you want when you're paying for lunch in central London. Pros: the Australian woman behind the bar was ace, great service and clearly was running the show- if she isn't already a manager it seemed she was. The house made Diet Coke is alright.

Great pub, friendly staff was served by a man cristen, top lad! would definitely come here again during a sports event, great vibes 👍👍😍

A great place for food and drink near Covent garden

Went for a late lunch and a couple of glasses of wine. We had the charcuterie board and the padron peppers Could not fault the food, service or atmosphere. Will happily go again.

Perfect spot for after work drinks, great vibe and cozy bar. Amazing set of food menu and affordable price range for central london.

We ordered to a table and waiter just left our drinks there and told us to collect it ourselves ???

Touristy - better vibes around elsewhere

I went there on New Year’s eve before the fireworks. The pub is quite nice and clean and the drinks are good but the staff were very rude. Although I personally didn’t encounter any problems, I heard them making fun of people because or their accents or turning costumers away very rudely because there were no tables. I understand that it can get busy at times and that’s stressful but that doesn’t justify the rudeness.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo posto meraviglioso immerso nel parco. La Manager Chiara ci ha accolto veramente alla grande spiegandoci tutti i piatti e consigliando molto bene. La carne veramente buona. I bambini hanno gradito tutto ma soprattutto hanno gradito i dolci. Pulizia del locale ottima e servizio molto rapido e preciso. Forse le specialità tipiche londinesi migliori che abbiamo mangiato in questa piccola vacanza. Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie CHIARA.

I couldnt of been any more spoilt by the staff for my birthday!! We even got little ice creams for our bears we brought along too. Ice creams so full of flavour, my latte was a good strong coffee which just hit the spot!! Also the little mini ice cream you also get with the coffees are a great little touch😃😃

Very welcoming, service was friendly and helpful. We had the festive menu- group of 6- and it was superb. Lovely atmosphere in a very charming pub
