The best restaurants serving British food in City of London, Westminster London

After a long flight from Oz arriving very early in the morning, the staff went above and beyond to organise a room for us weary travellers with early check-in. The room size is great, the location is absolutely superb (great hotel and local restaurants) and the hotel has super friendly staff. 10/10 - this is my new go-to London hotel.

Absolutely fabulous mixologist Gergo, ask for him! Not joking I've been to a lot of cocktail bars, this guy is a perfectionist! Will absolutely be visiting again!!

By Far one of the worst experinces ever. Bad service, they forgot half the food and waited till it came in, while the rest of the food got cold, no apology. Questioned why the bill was seperated and ended up having the waiter argue, that it was we ordered. Highly recommend you save your money and have breakfast somewhere else.

We really enjoyed our afternoon tea here. Manuel was a great host and made our anniversary feel special. The atmosphere is contemporary boutique, something really refreshing after visiting the National Gallery. We definitely would consider coming here again.

My go-to fish’n’chips spot in Central London, generous portions, fresh and tasty food and great service. Always a pleasure to come back.

Came as part of a Christmas party last week downstairs (didn't even know there was a downstairs!) The food and drink were great and Cherly and the team looked after us well. Hopefully will be back for next Christmas if not sooner!

Having worked opposite Brumus for six years, I finally went in for a pre-theatre menu last month, and instantly wondered why I hadn’t been in earlier! The dining room is a warm and civilised place to be able to enjoy the company of your dining companion without excessive noise or feeling crowded. The staff are welcoming and friendly, taking the time to engage in genuine conversation. The wine selection is thoughtful and decent. We only dined from the pre-theatre options, but they were so thoroughly enjoyable, I will be happy to return to sample more off the full menu. Came away satisfied, smiling and eager to return.
