The best restaurants serving British food in Manchester North West

we popped in here for a drink on recommendation of a friend, glad we did, what a little gem of a pub.. the 2 ladies running the bar were friendly and welcoming, even the customers were friendly.. so much so we ended up spending a few hours in here on 2 of our days.. would highly recommend it and cant wait to visit again..

Second visit to the revamped Terminal 2 and found the seven brothers bar. Didn't want or need a big meal before our flight so chose a smaller dish from the menu. Absolutely brilliant service and quality of food. Although the prices are a little higher than similar establishments outside the airport, they are no more expensive than other providers in T2. I would happily recommend them to travellers looking for good quality food and drink in comfortable surroundings.

Terribly overrated with long queues. Although the queues are hyped about on social media the queue jumping isnt. Nothing but average products. Last review they got deleted.

Our family of 5 stayed in YHA for an overnight stopover from Cornwall. Excellent cafe available from early breakfast till late dinner. Loved that it has vegan options for my daughter. Prices are reasonable too.

La llamó de camino a un concurso de baile cerca. El personal era encantador y la cafetería / restaurante parecía tan cómodo y acogedor. Solo queríamos bebidas calientes para llevar el café era excelente al igual que el chocolate caliente. Solo 1 problema muy pequeño era que las tazas para llevar no eran las mejores y se desintegraron para hacer que la bebida se filtrara a través. Me encantaría volver a probar la comida que se veía muy bien y sin duda tomar las bebidas encantadoras. Estoy seguro de que utilizará otras tazas una vez que se dé cuenta. Relaxed but attentive - well stocked and good quality.

I recently found the wackey warehouse and my son loves it. We called in for some food afterwards and although the restaurant was busy, staff were able to move around some bookings to accommodate myself and 2 toddlers. (Sons Cousin joined us too) All the staff went above and beyond to help- even managing to extend our table stay longer so that I didn’t have to rush with my toddlers. (I think they could see I was struggling a little- also 6 months pregnant). Every staff member from the front desk to the table staff were friendly, polite and made us feel at easy and comfortable even interacting with the children too . My son wasn’t happy that he didn’t have a cone on his ice cream and the waiter tried his best to offer Maltesers to add to make him happy. They could also see me struggling with my take away cavery as the kids made it too hectic for me to eat. So I decided to take my food home to enjoy in peace later. They came over with a take away bag for me which made carrying my food along with all the toddlers things so much easier. Honestly from a tired, exhausted mum, little things like this are big things and a kind face/ interaction just helps the stresses of parenting that little bit better. I’m not normally one to write a review but the staff really do deserve a pat on the back. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough money to tip them but they do deserve recognition. A kind friendly service that ensures our next visit to the wacky warehouse will also transpire to a visit for some food afterwards too. Thank you ☺️

Llegamos alrededor de las 6: 30 pm el 29 de julio de 2024 y les tomó 30 minutos tomar nuestro pedido y luego estábamos esperando otra hora y 20 minutos para nuestra comida. La comida era agradable.

Mega night and great atmosphere with friendly banter

Great food and staff, each dish was better than the last. Good wine options. Lovely views of the city nice atmosphere too

Just nipped in for a coffee and the lady behind the till was so friendly and nice she was alone and the place was so peacful.

Couldn't find a better butty shop in Manchester, great variety, fresh and always served with a smile.

Amazing home cooked food.. highly recommend.. great atmosphere. Reasonably priced.. you need to visit a few times to try the different dishes.. suet pudding.. pie of the day.. and the ultimate corn beef ash.. 10/10

Very expensive for the Sunday roast. Two small, thin pieces of meat.
