Been here several times and the food was amazing! Very tasty and presented beautifully. Staff on a whole very welcoming. I would recommend this place and i will be back for future meals.

Went to this pub Tonight to play darts. The night was going very well untill we wanted a drink at 10-45 the member of staff was outside we waited 5 minuets my friend went and asked her for a drink and she said last orders had been called he came back and said no more. I then went to ask why she gave the same answer this is still at 10-50 she was very abrupt and obnoxious. I then talked to the team we played and they said it's not the first time. I will not be going in that pub again, and neither will my team

As a chef it's difficult sometimes to find somewhere which has beautiful food for great prices. Well this place has it all. It's a traditional setting with a great atmosphere from guests and staff. But the food was spectacular. No fault from any of our party. They even had take a way tubs for two of us who couldn't finish. The steaks are beautifully cooked and rested with the baked cheesecake bringing it all home. Will be returning 5*****

Family gathering to celebrate our grandson’s 18 birthday, lovely separate area for us all, food brought in timely manner given it was a busy boxing day all staff very pleasant and welcoming food excellent. Not rushed to be out but welcomed as long as needed

The Bay Horse in Market Weighton is a lovely spot for a tasty and fresh meal. I started with the French onion soup, it was delicious. The broth was rich and full of flavour, with soft caramelized onions and a cheesy topping that made it extra special. For the main course, I had the fish pie, which was excellent. It was creamy and packed with fresh seafood, topped with a golden crust that was just right. Every bite was comforting and flavourful. The staff were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. They were attentive without being overbearing, which added to the relaxed atmosphere. If you're looking for fresh, tasty food and a friendly place to enjoy it, The Bay Horse is worth a visit.

Had a lovely meal. Booking system on line was easy and straightforward. Even though it was really busy, the food came quickly. It had a great atmosphere, The food was delicious. My only criticism (and that is just because I don't eat large portions) is that there is not a choice of small or regular size portions. The portions at the Rose & Crown are expectionally generous. The pub lost out on my purchasing a pudding as the main course was too filling. The menu is clearly marked for anyone with a dietary requirement i.e. GF, VG etc. which I found helpful as I am a coeliac.

We recently visited the Woolpack this week with friends, first time in a few years that we have been to this pub. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the beer selection very good and a warm atmosphere. We all had the pie which was exceptionally good, a proper pie as we would say in Yorkshire as it had sides and a bottom, full of chunks of meat and reasonably priced. We booked in advance which is always advisable to secure your table and will not leave it as long until we visit again. Need to support our local pubs so we don’t lose them.

Very average fish. soggy batter and the chips were scaby very sad when they are selling them at half price trying to get extra business.they have been very good on the previous visits. Just need some attention to detail

9 of us visited here as our walking group and we all had the fish and chips which we all agreed were lovely and good value. The ladies working there were very polite and helpful. Thank you.

This review is related to the shop next door as I know it’s the same people who work in both. I would like to say thank you to the kind lady who helped us out in September when we were ‘caught short’ it was very kind and next time we are around, I willrepay you. 🧻

The food was really good, the staff where so welcoming and kind nothing was to much trouble for them as a manager myself I can honestly say that they are such a well bonded team and managed amazingly

Went today with my baby for brunch. I’d like to do a special shout out to the staff in the restaurant. The staff were amazing, they were all engaging with my little one and chatting away to her and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Food was delicious!

This place is a really good location to go and have some wonderful food and excellent bar staff the food came really fast and nice it was a great experience I would recommend it to others.
