We had a meal there last night, set menu for two. Good choice of starters and main courses, including a drink. Choose from korma all the way through to vindaloo, so something for everyone. Full menu of other dishes was available. Service was friendly, food was hot, well presented and good size portions. Will go back if I’m ever in town again.

Outstanding restaurant with delicious food including some Bangladeshi specialities which were particularly lovely. The flavours were fresh and unique. We also had the best paratha we can remember. Service was warm and friendly. Very highly recommended.

Went for a take away, been looking forward to one for weeks! Ordered king prawn masala. It’s got about 5 tiny prawns in it, nothing else but 5 small prawns and sauce! No veg nothing else. Very sugary and coconuty, horrid You can see the video for yourself. Cost about £13 excluding rice! Terrible.

03/01/2025 Food is still excellent. Chicken Madras is top notch, as is the vegetable Pilau rice. I always place a collection order. Service is usually quick and efficient as well. 09/12/23 Beautiful, beautiful food! 😊🔥 26/10/2023 What a delicious curry I had tonight from Morpeth Spice! Lamb tikka Jalfrezi, Bombay Aloo and vegetable pilau rice were beautiful! Great service as well! Older Review Phoned up this evening to place an order, as I couldn't pay by card on their website. Very friendly staff. The food was delivered in very good time, considering I live a little way out of Morpeth centre, and they also gave us a free, sharing bottle of Pepsi as well 🙂❤️ The food was fantastic, and the rice is some of the best I've had. I would certainly order from Morpeth Spice again, as I'm so pleased with everything. Thanks very much guys! 🙂 ❤️

The meals didn't match the description. The essence of a Dansak is that sour/sweet taste. Their version has no pineapple and a sludgy consistency. The worst attempt at a Dansak I've ever had in sixty years. My wife's bhuna again didn't taste like a bhuna. That subtle aromatic flavour was missing and again the consistency was sludge. I've had better curries from supermarket ready-meal. Was the chef on holiday ? How on earth can this establishment have so many good reviews when they serve duds like this ? A mystery.

Arrived in a group of four, late one evening on a quiet night. After reading the reviews and not a pleasant experience when booking, . We were all really, pleasantly surprised, that the night was excellent. Food was tasty, fresh and served without any issues, all at a reasonable price. Staff all friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend an will return.
