The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Having walked out of the Mumbai Kitchen, headed here for a very decent couple of popadoms, chutneys, a chicken biryani and a naan. Couple of pints of Cobra. All very pleasant. What’s not to like?

Our favourite restaurant excellent food good service and very friendly staff

Our first visit and a local recommendation. Yes it was a Saturday night and it was busy but sadly, as we had a taxi booked, our meal took so long to arrive, we had to rush it. The food was great it’s just a shame we couldn’t fully enjoy it. We allowed a good hour and 45 mins and only had a popadom plate to start then a main course, we felt this was sufficient time. Food was good enough to go back, hopefully on a quieter night when we can fully appreciate it.

La comida estaba bien, pero el servicio no existe! El camarero no nos habló toda la comida, excepto para tomar la orden. No hay respuesta a un intento de chat chit y cara absolutamente sullen. ¡Parecía tan infeliz! Llegaron las bebidas pero ningún intento de renovarse cuando se terminó. He venido aquí a menudo durante muchos años y esto fue lo peor. A los 19. 40 un viernes por la noche el restaurante estaba prácticamente vacío. Parece que la gente vota con los pies. ¡Qué pena y tan fácil de rectificar! Vamos Nueva Bengala. ¡Sube tu juego a lo grande! Pd ¡Por primera vez en muchos años no he agregado un cargo por servicio / propina a una factura!

Truly excellent Indian food , great service one of the best.a good selection of dishes strangely no prawn tandoori but we will forgive that.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and attentive staff. Caters for gluten-free requirements with plenty of choice. Highly recommend

Oh wow the service at Tigerbay (Kingsbury ) is top tier! Nuzi was so helpful. It was a our first here. And he was so lovely. The drinks and the food was amazing! We will definitely be back Thank you :0)

Regular place to visit with family and friends. I love their cutting Tea. Absolute great taste. Variety of street food to enjoy.

Muy buen curry. Reservamos a última hora, nunca había estado antes, pero tan contento que lo hicimos. La comida era genial, cocinado fresco, muy limpio y tenía un sabor increíble. ¡Volveremos pronto!

Nice but very expensive for what you get . I would expect them prices in Manchester but not Poynton.. nice food but not worth the price plus a big tip added on which Isint clear on the bill..

Ordered our takeaway on a Saturday night it came within 30 minutes it was hot and delicious. It is unusual for any takeaway to arrive on time and be hot but Mumbai managed this I had chicken takeaway masala with pilau rice and spicy chips i would recommend this takeaway/restaurant 😋 👌

1st time ordering form this takeaway. Where to start, Stale poppadoms, we ordered egg fried rice and garlic rice, to me it looked like they just added the egg and garlic to the already cooked rice, rather than cooked separately (if that makes sense) onion bhaji had no taste and sadly this was continued through out the other dishes, simply no flavour at all. This is my first ever review, it was that bad.
