The best restaurants serving Italian food in City of London, Westminster London

We were struggling to find somewhere to eat in the area so this wasn’t a planned visit. We only wanted starters but we were told we had to have main courses because it was a busy theatre day. Not sure if that’s really right but anyway, we waited nearly an hour for our food and it was mediocre to say the least. Half a measly pizza and a bit of salad for £17. I wanted bruschetta but couldn’t eat that and a main course too. So since when does the customer have to order something different because the restaurant demands it? Weird. The servers were working really hard I have to say. What a rip off even for central London.

3rd time we have visited this restaurant and on every occasion the food and service has been exceptional. This time with the weather being extremely cold we asked to be seated inside. The meet and greater Mohamed) was accommodating and seated us inside. The food ordered came and was the usual high standard.

Very busy early evening. Pleasant service. Usual nice food.

Big surprise with the quality of the food served.

As a visitor around Christmas, although it was very crowded, the service was quite fast, the garlic bread delicious and the pizza very good with many combinations of tastes and aromas. Friendly staff, we felt excellent and it was an inspired way to end our visit in a friendly atmosphere. I recommend.

Just WOW ! 😊. The atmosphere !..Vibrant and sets the mood of Italy . Lasagna/olives//wine fabulous ! Great service !! Staff they worked so well as a TEAM you didnt see an individual apart from my exceptional waitress Victoria ! Thk u all 👍

I went with my daughter for her birthday before our theatre booking..we are both gluten free.not by choice but for over 20 years. we ordered what we could..this is the first restaurant we have been to when a risotto is not gluten free..we placed our order..my chicken pasta meal came cold & under cooked which I asked to be reheated...still wasn't acceptable & my daughter had to order 3side dishes as the salad she ordered off the gluten free menu was apparently not gluten free..we were also charged £4.79 for a tiny dish of gluten free coleslaw..£8.29 for a so called brushetta which was just a plate of tomatoes & a plain gluten free flatbread..definitely not a brushetta. On top of all that we were charged £8.73 service charge...without being told that would be added to my bill...I tip as I see fit & although the service was good the food was definitely not acceptable for the price...sorry but wouldn't recommend..

Came here with my my friend to have lunch and we were seated fairly quickly. Once we were seated the waiter didn't come to us at all and we waited 30-40 minutes before deciding to leave. It was somewhat busy but overall very calm and few new people came in so I don't understand why such the long wait. Not only that but the family on the table next to us was staring at my hijabi friend and making her uncomfortable. Overall not a great experience. On top of that the prices are outrageous for fast food quality products but we were willing to overlook that until everything else happened. I think it'd be better to just have their frozen pizzas at home if anything.

Great to be here in central London. Excellent waiter, Patrick also He is Brazilian, very kind and professional. We will be back here!

Outstanding place to have Italian kitchen. Variety of choices as for pizzas as for base thickness. Tasty wine combinations

Food was too salty and lacking of service. I have mentioned it is a birthday celebration, nothing has been organised.very disappointed for a restaurant in a 5 star hotel

Came here in Aug '17 and again recently, in August came here for my birthday and both times were very good. Attentive staff. Nice food. Overall it's good, but isn't fantastic or special, but worth coming if you're going to theatre near by.

Ok pizza / Italian restaurant. Enjoyed pizza, red/white wine and a salad ( no real choices re: salad). Service was ok and ambience ok - it was a quiet Saturday night. Would dine here again
