We stopped in for a quick breakfast - I think my avocado salmon omelet was very yummy and the fresh pita was amazing; my husband thought the dirty bacon waffle was delicious and filling, but either too much syrup or the syrup was super sweet. And it was fun listening the all the Italian since I haven't been to Italy in years.

Tuve una experiencia extremadamente pobre aquí. Desde el momento en que entramos se nos hizo sentir mal por la camarera, cuando pedimos sentarnos afuera y nos respondieron con un grosero “no. Está cerrado.” a pesar de que la gente estaba afuera. Estábamos cenando como un 5 , pero nos hicieron sentarnos en un 4 y “apretarnos” a pesar de que había muchas otras mesas disponibles. Las personas que estaban a nuestro lado en nuestra mesa incluso comentaron lo ridículo que era sentarnos aquí cuando había muchas otras mesas libres. El servicio era muy, muy pobre. Nos dejaron en la mesa durante 20 minutos sin que nadie nos pidiera nada hasta que tuvimos que marcar a una camarera para tomar un pedido. Cuando esa orden fue tomada, fueron otros 20 minutos para conseguir las bebidas. Mi compañera pidió cantinero ya que no había nadie más a quien preguntar, y ella dijo un minuto, puso los ojos en blanco y se fue. ¿En serio? ¡Qué grosero! Las bebidas aparecieron finalmente y mi amigo tomó un sorbo de la margarita y casi se ahoga. La especia estaba absolutamente ridículamente caliente y casi preocupante. Inmediatamente devolvió esta bebida y todos vimos al camarero volver a poner los ojos en blanco y jurar en portugués sobre nosotros (entendimos todo lo que dijiste, por cierto, hablamos portugués). Luego tuvieron la mejilla de agregarlo en la factura, que tardó mucho en llegar también y tuvimos que ir a ellos varias veces para pedir esto. Honestamente repugnante servicio al cliente. Yo misma soy camarera y nunca, nunca trataría a la gente de esta manera. Nunca volveré y estoy extremadamente molesto por esta experiencia.

Terrible experience. Only 2 tables were occupied in the restaurant, and it took over 45 mins to get out one starter. The main courses (4) were all tasteless, and dire. We complained at the time when the waiter asked us "hows the food", we told him it was awful, but by then we had waited so long to receive food (over an hour for the main course), we were that hungry, we ate it. The chips were about the best thing we endured, we didn't moan about the chips being 6.50 pounds, but when we got them, it was less than a full potato! LOL We did laugh about this in the end.

I had been trying to stop at this venue for a while, but it tends to be very busy on most occasions. The venue is compact but has an exciting appealing decor. It has bright colours and patterns. The cafe is immaculate which enhances its appeal. The service was friendly and speedy. The prices are typical for London, but the quality is great. I had a spiced chai latte that was very nice. My wife had the cake that she adored. Unfortunately, there were no gluten and dairy-free options available. Looking at the menu the main negative is that it does not have many dietary options. However, it is a nice cafe and provides a good place if you can find a seat.

We had pasta before taking the train; food was nice but I wanted to write this review especially to commend the service, which was impeccable. Orlando went out of his way to advise us and ensure we made our train on time. Thank you!

£ 16 por una copa de vino que solo sabía a agua de colores. El vino de sabor más barato que puedes conseguir por un precio extorsivo. El lugar tiene una necesidad imperiosa de refrescarse también. Avoid.

Extremely unprofessional staff! Tall, bold older waiter served our bill and said -SPLIT ? We looked at him shocked, I asked that’s strange - do you get this often? He responded with attitude - of course, it’s 2025 women pay the bills, it’s equality! Excuse me ? How rude! It’s a Yes or No question, you don’t get to push your hatered towards women on clients! We will never go back there!

Soy residente local de CW desde hace muchos años - nunca probé Scarpetta. Después de las copas del trabajo en la ciudad vine aquí con mi marido el jueves 26 de septiembre de 2024, necesitando el baño pero con la intención de comer por primera vez, a pesar de la reputación mixta. No había personal para saludar y sentarse, pero había un chef detrás del mostrador, mirándonos gruñón. Solo había dos mesas cenando, y muchos asientos vacíos. Pregunté de inmediato “dónde está el baño” como mi primera prioridad. El chef respondió “¿estás cenando?”. Le dije, “bueno, ¿no es importante ser amable? ¡No me quedaré si no lo haces!”. El chef respondió: “¡Fuera!”. ¡En realidad nos dijo que saliéramos! No podía creer lo grosero que es el personal aquí. Es una muestra repugnante del mal servicio al cliente la forma en que “Scarpetta” trata a sus clientes. Mi marido y yo podríamos habernos convertido en clientes habituales, pero en cambio, nunca cenaremos aquí en un millón de años. Evita este lugar. Para mí, es una desgracia.
