The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Mancroft Norwich East of England

We came to the Cafe as it’s usually one of my favourite spots to go in Norwich and we had a little time to ourselves so thought we’d treat ourselves to a piece of cake and hot drink. When first entering the cafe we were immediately told that the cafe would be closing in half an hour. Why not just say it’s only take away now? I then asked the waitress if the oat matcha latte was decaf and just got a firm ‘no’ which felt rather rude and I wondered why not as decaf coffee was available? We then just felt incredibly rushed- the bill was given to us before we’d even finished our drinks properly. It has put me off. We took 20 minutes and left promptly. If you aren’t willing to serve people coming in at the end of the day with the same courtesy as people earlier on, maybe just say it’s take away only- I’d have felt more comfortable leaving with our food than staying in the end.

I visited Ber Street Kitchen on 6th December, I was looking for an independent cafe near Float Norwich to visit after my float session. After checking on Google maps I was recommended to this delightful, charming café. The menu included the normal items for a cafe and some variations. I had the smoked haddock hash I asked for normal hollandaise sauce rather than the mustard hollandaise and they happily accommodated my request. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The quality of the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this cafe.

YMCA confirmed this cafe has closed for good. A great shame as it was great value and very convenient for the city centre. They now have a cafe called Williams Kitchen on the Aylsham Road.

Lovely cakes and drinks served by friendly volunteers in a historic setting. Lots of seating outside, and the inside seating is well spaced out. And the value is exceptionally good for a city centre location. Highly recommended.

También preparan brunch y almuerzos, incluido el asado del domingo, pero todavía no los he probado. Es un buen lugar para sentarse y ver pasar el mundo o ponerse al día con amigos.

What a great place. Welcoming to us and our dogs. Gorgeous food, great variety and choice all freshly cooked. Loads of home made touches- apple butter yum!! I had wild mushroom n Swiss monte christo with syrup - wow!! Relaxed vibe. Oh and I didn’t mention - great coffee. So glad we went.

My friend suggested we visit yesterday - we discovered a little gem! Great coffee, chocolate fudge cake to die for & great service!

Absolutely love this place! Wonderful range of both flavoured and unflavoured coffees, friendly staff, and super-fast delivery. I'm not a tea drinker but I've heards their tea is pretty good as well.

Coronation chicken sandwiches, lavender scones, lady grey teas were lovely. highly recommended. excellent atmosphere. however, suggested the owner to double check re. the quality of the tea pots. The waiter served me with a leaked tea pot which was no good and dangerous. And i do not like using the little hand towel to hold the tea pot handle due to the hygiene perspective. the tea cups and plates were not the same set as well. And base on observation, the floor was very dirty with all the bread crumbs etc and the waiter did not clean the table for the next customers

Not my choice of venue. No real ale only cold beers on tap. Limited choice of wine available.

Slap dash and indifferent service which is a pity as the setting is lovely

Went in to get a coffee with my son. The person serving mistook my son for a girl. When that person asked me a question about my daughter, I answered the question but added that he was actually my son. The person serving took great offence and rudely blanked us both, and then started talking through us to another worker in the shop. I do not know if they just didn’t like being corrected or something wildly different, but they made my son feel very uncomfortable.

This is my first visit to a Muffin Break and the coffee and the cheesecake were lovely and the staff had a great friendly vibe. The only let down was the furniture was quite dirty with crumbs everywhere I looked. That was the only let down to a very pleasant experience.

A great pub to wind up a day of shopping in the city.
