Cool bar with friendly clientele. Staff are smiley and attentive. Love the skiing theme and the Brewdog beer. Great having the ski videos on the big screen aswell. Just a thought, have you thought about showing the live skiing on Eurosport/Discovery+?

Bland ice cream - nothing special about it. Strawberry flavour was fairly tasteless and I left half of it. My daughter had a chocolate/rocky road which was also flavourless.

We were wandering around the harbour and thinking it was about time for a coffee when we saw this place, They specialise in donuts too so we added some to our order. Great - we sat overlooking the harbour with our coffee and donuts.

Food and service was lovely, just disappointed with the pricing for portion sizes. Ordered 1 light bite scampi and chips and 1 scampi and chips from the main menu, the only difference were 4 extra pieces of scampi, didn’t really feel like it was worth paying an extra £5 as would have just gone for the cheaper light bite option.

Went to Yolo for breakfast this christmas eve first time eating at the venue. Had high hopes as staff friendly and interior very inviting but wow was the cooked breakfast a let down had the full english and where do i start. Toast burnt Eggs with no runny middle Bacon looked uncooked Sausage looked and tasted like cheapest frozen sausage they could find Smallest portion of beans ive ever recieved on a breakfast And black pudding on par with sausage cheap skinny slice no taste. And had the pleasure of paying a small fortune for what was probably the worst cooked breakfast ive recieved anywhere. Will be my first and last visit for food at Yolo unless they make huge improvements.

DELICIOUS SUNDAY LUNCH FRIENDLY HELPFUL SERVICE My friend and I visited today. We both had the small portion of Roast Beef which we found more than adequate. Two slices of beef, delicious mash, selection of veg, roasted potato, parsnip and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Small lunch £7.50. Dessert £4.50 Half Shandy £1.90

The atmopsphere of the whole Bookstore is very good and the buffet is integral to the place no issues with the atmosphere. Queues can be long and wait for food long so this is not a place if you are in a hurry. I thing it is extremely expensive for what you get and where it is. A simple breakfast roll is £7.60 for bacon and £8.60 for sausage and I was really disappointed that they did not cater for vegetarians with such rolls. Most cafes these days have veggie sausages. All food is expensive and I think apart from the atmosphere of being in the bookstore, there are better value places in town.
