Upon arriving in Carlisle we asked in a local shop at the bus station where the best coffee shop was. Just a five minute walk to The Good Sisters. What a lovely little place, I so much prefer these coffee shops to the big name brands. The staff were so good, happy to help. The food was great too. A nice selection, well presented and good quality. I had the Sausage Pattie Brioche Bun. It was tasty and to be recommended. Well done to all 🙂

Great choice of records at a good price ,picked myself a nice single up and had tasty some ice-cream from the cafe as well . Cool vibes and the owners were lovely as well 😀

Love Adeline’s cafe. The cakes are the best I have had anywhere ever and that’s saying a lot cos I eat a lot of cakes 😂. The host always has a bit of crack with you. The decor is lovely as well. Highly recommend for coffee and a cake or a lunch.

Lots of choice, including lots of vegan donuts. Very friendly staff members. We come here quite regularly and normally buy a box of four. Also, some of the best jam filled donuts we've ever had.

Arrived at 1.45, there was a sign on the door to say it was open until 2.30. I was snarled at by an extremely rude person, saying "we're closed". Will not be going back.

Very busy ( which speaks volumes ) with a great atmosphere. All courses that we had were excellent and reasonably priced. Definitely a go back to.

First time visit and what a fantastic shop. A bibliophile's dream!!

My son and I went for our breakfasts 18/1/25. We waited for much longer than usual for our food, approximately 35 minutes. The beans were served cold ( which I see has been commented on before), no tomatoes were available, not only for us but the lady on the adjoining table too. The coffees were good and we enjoyed them very much but no apology was offered for the disappointing breakfasts even though I mentioned it to the young lady. Unfortunately our visit was let down by the long wait and cold beans for goodness sakes. Total cost £28.70.

Not allow dogs but no sign on the door so you only find out after you have taken your coat off and sat down.

Called in here with my father in law and my 4 children (which is always stressful) we were very well looked after ☺️ food was lovely, (kids menu is a £1 with a paying adult) even after a spillage the ladies were so lovely, we will definitely be back

Not really a coffee shop, more of a roaster that sells coffee. Stood there for 10 minutes without attention while a guy was scraping a roasting machine. Starbucks or Costa should be better service.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm, festive vibe—perfect for the Christmas season. The decorations and xmas music set the tone, making it feel like a true winter wonderland. Just perfect for our family meal. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always checking in to ensure everything was to my liking. Service was quick, and our food arrived piping hot which tasty delicious. Considerate of dietary requirement in our group who was dairy intolerant, Thank you for making it such a lovely experience.
