The best restaurants serving Seafood food in South West

Lovely little find with fantastic food and service. We went for a 2pm lunch and had the whole place to ourselves. Would highly recommend!

We have been going for years with our expanding family from me going as a child with my dad 50years ago and onwards excellent memories excellent service from all the people who have owned and worked there thank you for all our happy times we have spent there and believe me it’s has been a blast 💥 Gren and family from Manchester we will miss you all !!!

Tried the fish and chips and onion rings, had to wait a very long time, found it very greasy, will not be going there again.

Sadly, closed at 3:15pm on a Thursday. Guess the season's over.

Its very hit and miss I ordered a mixed kebab only to receive 90% kebab meat and 10% chicken pity as its nice food

Great chips but the batter on the fish is terrible, soggy greasy sponge. I am not sure what the problem is but the fish comes in batter that looks brown and appetising but inside is thick soggy and full of oil. Like supermarket frozen fried fish. Horrible.

We travel from chipping norton to this chip shop I would it's the in this area

First time trying this chippy. It was 'ok' - my food was ready in less than 1 minute couldnt believe it. The curry sauce had definitely been sat in the pot a while, it was like jelly moulded into the shape of the pot when i tipped it out so it went in the bin (in 1 lump). The chips were nice though. If they took a bit more time prepping the food, it could be better. Ill stick to the other one in Hamworthy for now.

Only call in when travelling to Chard, always make detour to get my fish and chips here. The batter and fish is the best I have ever had, from Blackpool, Yorkshire, all over UK. Best wishes.

Regular diners here, took my staff out last night for our Christmas gathering and the service was terrible, we waited 20 mins for initial service and 15 mins for drinks following service and it was like this all night . meals not cooked to standards resulting in meals being remade as well. Very shocked for our favourite place but it needed to be said so hopefully someone reads this that matters can do something about it

We came in because of the "kids eat free" offer after a day at the aquarium and I'm glad we did. Food was superb and service excellent -- waitstaff and management took care of us brilliantly. Comfortable and warm restaurant, loved it. Will visit again.

Staff were friendly & helpful.Waited longer than normal but staff were apologetic.It was worth the wait as it was delicious & hot & fresh.Really good quality food. Would highly recommend here. This was our first visit whilst staying over for the night. Sorry for picture as I can’t eat a lot so this is my part of a very large portion.
