The best restaurants in South Ribble North West

The food is excellent we had the chorizo hash and dolly special both were fantastic! Children had sandwiches which were all eaten too! Then we shared the waffle and my god it was also very very good!! It cafe is really nice which great facilities, we will definitely be back soon!

I use this place a lot, always 10 out of 10, tonight considering it being new year they get 12, the food was amazing I would highly recommend, open kitchen thank you very much you are all top class

It's just fish and chip isn't it? Well to me yes but from a 5 star hygeine chippy. Good food from a clean safe place, friendly staff and big portions, you don't need a portion of chips for everyone the large chips feed 4.

I used to work at their factory at Bamber Bridge, Preston. They are filthy people. They are using common wellington shoes in the factory, i had to wear the wellington shoes used by different people and it is dirty. They are using overseas people for work. My shift was 2-10, but i have to work upto 10 past 10 and even more for which i do not get paid. We mean to be there at 2 pm and mean to work up to 10pm. Most of the factories are finishing and cleaning 5 to 10 to minutes before the end of the shift. They keep on working even after end of the shift, some times 10 or 15 minutes more. It is hard to find any English face there. They do not pay for any break. Packing is disorganised and can see sandwiches and other end products on the dirty floor. I have got electric shocks twice from the packing machine and when reported they told me to use rubber gloves before touching the machine and even not bothered to mend it. I wont buy any thing from B&M made by this factory. Beware of Doggy Dave down there he is filthy and using Asian workers as body guard.

Service poor. Just not right here.

We decided on a chicken burger meal each from the website along with a garlic bread and cokes- all via Just Eat. The website is fairly extensive which should suit most tastes. You can pay with most major cards via Just Eat. Fair enough it all arrived within the fairly short stated time frame by a smart friendly delivery driver and piping hot too. The meal itself was " okay" and had to be said filled a gap. Chips weren't too bad although the garlic bread gave the necessary carbs on its own. I don't think this takeaway deserves a 5 star rating although in comparison to the other national competitors like Dominoes Darione is a lot better. Would we order again? Yes of course!

My first visit but not my last. I was greeted with a smile and shown to my table without having a reservation. The food was delicious and presented perfectly. The service was friendly and Hannah was very helpful taking the time to consider my hearing loss and explained everything clearly. The slow cooked belly pork was "Special" indeed.

Well I think first of all you need to get a good cleaning in the pub entrance full of dirt and spider webs all over and your TOILETS specially man’s needs a bloody good cleaning I took photo to upload here but not doing it come on guys you can do better then this been using for years wont b returning back Staff seemed like they were bothered and didn’t wanna b there Food was under ok

Great food, good selection and wonderful service! Our server worked very hard to keep us happy at our table of 15!

We had lunch here today and we were so impressed- the service and food was amazing- we had the brisket of beef sandwich and soup, it was the nicest lunch we’ve had for a long time- we will def be back- our waitress Beth was lovely too- what a little gem 🤩xx

The food was good but definitely a lack of communication with staff, 3 different stuff members would take our order, then when we moved on to our main meal they were bringing us appetisers that were meant for other tables and that happened a number of times. Toilets were grubby and no hot water.

So pleased with the quality of the fish and chips here! Chips tasty and cooked well,,, batter not too thick, fish very tasty, mushy peas perfect! Just wanted to let the new owners know they are doing a fantastic job! 🤗

Great Sunday Roast yesterday, the staff were super friendly and attentive. Food was lovely and big portions. I don't know if this place has been taken over or is under new management perhaps but this visit the vibe was much better than our recent visits
