Unbelievable!!! Nicola and the whole Zilli family were able to assist in a special surprise birthday for my wife (at short notice as well) where she went incredibly out of her way to ensure the evening was great for all of us. The care and attention to detail and assistance throughout in setting everything up for the evening was amazing. Add all of that to the food which as usual was delicious at every bite and it’s hard to think of going anywhere else (or in this case having them come to us) for an amazing family/special night! I will always recommend Casa Zilli for any occasion and cannot say thank you enough.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch here. The food was absolutely excellent - although very limited for me as a vegan. But staff were really accommodating and couldn’t be more helpful. And it’s the staff that really are the stars here. We chatted to one young man who was incredibly helpful and also surprisingly knowledgeable about the Margaret Rutherford Miss Marple films (some of which were filmed here!) and he couldn’t have been nicer. Then there was Kate who waited our table. Hands down the best member of waiting staff I’ve ever experienced - anywhere. Helpful without being overbearing. Genuinely friendly. And able to anticipate our needs without us asking. Setting, ambience, food and staff: all excellent. We WILL be back.

We ate twice at the Pizzeria whilst staying at Ashlea Pools .. We had the meat festive fondue which was delicious … nice to try something different The following evening we tried the fresh Pizzas … which were huge and amazing!! Both were prepared by Sam the chef who was happy to chat to us whilst she was making fresh Pasta … We also enjoyed a few nice cold beers and wine as well… So if you want lovely fresh food served by attentive staff in lovely surroundings . all at a reasonable cost don’t hesitate to try it out Or order a takeaway for yourself !!

Esta es una joya absoluta de un restaurante. La comida es increíble. Tuvimos el plato de compartir por segunda vez ahora y en ambas ocasiones se podía saborear el cuidado que ha ido en ella. La presentación fue encantadora y el sabor y la variedad de primera categoría. Todo lo anterior por un gran precio con un chef amable y excepcional!

Had a fantastic lunch. Beautiful food and surroundings. Every course was delicious. Our personal favourite was the scallop dish and the chicken dripping dip for the bread was inspired. Definitely one of our best ever meals.

They are highly attentive to individual needs, including dietary preferences and allergies, making every visit feel unique. Jackie and Lucy are simply outstanding in how they present each dish. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for a laid-back meal. If you're visiting Lichfield, make sure you book in advance—it’s a dining experience you won’t want to miss!

Top quality food , the Sundays dinners are amazing and they also do very good burgers. Good choice of beers and great customer service. Dog friendly also.

Wild bake wood fire pizzas are delicious this s the 2nd year we have tried them they are just as good each time we all try there specials which are very exciting service is really good place your order and you get a time slot and then just pick up perfect 😀👍

Just enjoyed the most fantastic afternoon tea today. The service was first class, spotlessly clean, very friendly. The afternoon tea was delicious, could not fault it in any way, highly recommended and will definitely make this a regular place to eat.

Great warm baguettes. I would recommend them to anyone! Cueing out of the door for a reason! Brilliant for lunch on a cold or hot day as cold food offered too.

We booked at the Greenhead Hotel at Greenhead near Haltwhistle for a Christmas Fare meal, myself, my wife and our daughter. We've eaten there several times and always enjoyed it, good food, pleasant ambience, good service. We wanted to dine early and booked the table of our choice for 17:30. We were waiting for our starters when a Shooting Party, mainly men, came in. They were accompanied by a few wives or girlfriends who quickly disappeared up to their rooms. They were staying there and were the most inconsiderate, entitled bunch of Hooray Henry oafs I've ever had the misfortune to encounter. They took over the bar dining area, braying and hooting at each other and totally destroying the ambience that we had gone there enjoy. My daughter is noise sensitive and was getting upset by the racket so much she had to go out to the car and get her ear plug head phone buds to try to cut the noise down. We couldn't enjoy the main course as the din was ruining our evening. We didn't finish our meals and certainly could not have endured the noise to allow us to have a dessert. I can only feel sorry for the other diners there as I cannot see how they could have enjoyed the experience of dining with the din these morons were making. I asked for the bill stating that we couldn't stand the racket. The waitress apologised and told us she had deducted our drinks from the bill as she could see how upset we were. We paid the 10% service charge as the staff obviously did their best for us and we were told that these OAFS came fairly regularly and were always the same, no matter if the staff asked them to temper their behaviour. If you are considering dining at this "Boutique" hotel, ask if there is a shooting party staying there first! If they are avoid it like the plague! If they are not there, you'll enjoy the welcome, the ambience and excellent service and food.

I've been to several award- winning fish and chip shops and this is better than any of them.... The cod and chips was perfectly cooked, service was friendly and efficient and prices are excellent value. Strongly recommended. Thank you both.
