The best restaurants serving British food in Ealing London

Lovely ambience, good range of drinks, bright blue staff t-shirt gave me erectile dysfunction.

Had a fab evening here with 11 of my pals. The pub was packed, great atmosphere. Manager was helpful and friendly, and service was great. Shout out to Cyn who was really excellent. And the value! So much good food for so little money. Recommended

While passing by by chance, we came across the ice rink. The place is super nice and far from the noise of London Little tip: there are free and clean toilets in the West wing :)

Fantastic pub with great food excellent beers (Guinness as good as in Ireland) and a really good atmosphere very friendly had a great afternoon/evening

Lovely place with local crowd. Has an Indian menu as well which is really good, made for the Indian palate. They have burger nights on Friday I think and it's nice. Lamb chops are the best.

It now has a Thai kitchen which serves freshly cooked Thai food. The chicken satay, Thai fish cakes, prawn Penang curry and Pla Rad Plick were all very good and better than those served in other Thai restaurants. Highly recommended.

Lorenzo and his colleague was amazing 👏 with us as a family, they have been really ❤️ lovely and kind to us!

Staff showed us to our table but didn’t mention there’s no table service. We couldn’t order online as there is no signal at the rear of the restaurant. Fine, we can order at the bar by why not tell people on entry? When the food arrived the serves were tiny. Pancakes ok but served with ten elderly blueberries, a smear of raspberry jam and a bare teaspoonful of cheap vanilla yoghurt. This dish was over £10. Ridiculous. Miserly and off putting. There was a broom and cleaning equipment abandoned in the main eating area, cardboard boxes stacked up everywhere and an air of disorganisation. Ugh. Won’t return.

Early booking made for dinner. Sat down, all 4 of us decided to have steak. When waiter came round we were told they had none of the steaks. Who not tell us when we sat down?Son wanted kidx portion of ice cream. Nope you can't have that unless you have the entire kids menu we were told. Really? You can't serve a scoop of ice cream on its own? Whether for a kid or not? Case of "computer says no" bad service, lacks attention to detail and spoilt the evening.Ealing has so much choice in restaurants. Give this one a miss.

This was our first time back at the Ballot Box following your reversal of the banning of well behaved dogs inside ( no way were we going to sit beer garden in midwinter). We were greeted warmly by the staff and received our drinks promptly. We will be back to visiting on our regular dog walk. Ken & Judy

This pub is lovely. The staff are so friendly, the food is nice. The drinks are good and well priced. Sometimes they have a singer on which is lovely. The 3 stars is purely because it has recently turned into a crèche. Horrible parents let their children run around not meaning you can't have a nice time. These kids are screaming. It's not down to the staff to tell them either. Entitled parents just ruining the atmosphere.
