Fantastic little find, food was great. Hymalayan lamb was so tender and full of flavour. Staff lovely and made you feel very welcome. Will definitely be back next time we are in York.

Popped in for a takeaway and it was delicious, fragrant, bursting with flavour. Great value

The restaurant is lovely and relaxing, there were plenty of food options to choose from and the food was delicious. It was wonderful to have so many choices with the whole menu being vegan. The salt and pepper tofu was a favourite, but everything we had was so good. Definitely recommend.

Extremely rude and poor behaviour of the staff. I requested a table for myself and was pointed to a lonely, empty table in the extreme corner, as if sending me to sit there as a punishment. I said I wanted to sit at a diff spot at the beautifully decorated tables, but they refused. A staff came to clean the table, and I went to the restroom, thinking meanwhile they will set up that table for me. But no, absolutely nothing. No hospitality, no warmth, I just didn't feel respected and welcomed. The staff kept saying other tables are reserved for people and they keep that corner table empty like that for solo diners and only set up when people come in. So am I not people??!!! Will u only decorate for the prime minister or what! The restaurant was mostly empty on a Monday evening, they had plenty of space even upstairs, but they would not let me sit at a nice table! I freaking don't understand why I was treated so differently and rudely. I was so hungry and so looking forward to trying Nepalese cuisine, but they don't seem hospitable people. I have been a solo traveller for 6 years now and not once have I been treated so poorly just because I went alone. Utterly disappointed and hurt.

Absolutely amazing, I was in food heaven. Manager was so nice and considerate. Asked my how day was, which was nice. He wad absolutely charming. Again,the food was stunning. Looked lovely and tasted better than any in Acomb. Would recommend to everybody ever. The rich juicy flavours of the chicken really brought out the exquisite spice of the sauce. The makkani was to die for

Superb meal. Staff were fantastic and the background music was great. We had pork ribs and duck rolls to start which were amazing. Then a green Thai curry, rice and a Pad Mee and a portion of chips. All incredible. Can't wait to go back.

Very tasty authentic food with good portion sizes. Would highly recommend. Ok, it's not fine dining silver service, but that's not what we were looking for. The staff were on it with plenty to choose from. Looking forward to going again.

Nunca había tenido un kimchi antes y realmente me gustó aquí. Muy sabroso con una textura agradable y la cantidad justa de calor en la salsa. Relleno y excelente relación calidad-precio en £ 13. Alrededor de cinco mesas estaban ocupadas a la hora del almuerzo del lunes de noviembre, lo que dice mucho. Una estrella se desactivó debido a la llanura del interior y el pago solo en efectivo.

Service was good and prices were reasonable. However, food was average, and we found that different dishes had little difference, probably down to under spicing. I am a chef myself and cook british Indian currys regularly.

Curry was poor, the keema man was strange!
