An awesome breakfast with excellent service. The best sausages in town.

We called Friday. It’s a lovely old pub, good choice of beers. Like siting in history. The only problem was they had overly loud dance music. It’s just felt out of place and you couldn’t hold a conversation. We had the one pint and left. Maybe go back mid week.

Food was spot on and taste fantastic. Service was fast and very friendly. Definitely would recommend. Food was cheap as well which is always good.

Had Christmas Dinner today, prawns had gone off and smelt off really bad, turkey dinner was “okay” at best.. very very dry meat and overcooked roasties and wasn’t enough veg for everyone and food was cold… £85 pp is crazy for the experience.. first and last time unfortunately

We visited on Christmas Eve and had a table in the bar which was very lively due to the live music but made it a bit hard to speak to each other! The Manager must’ve realised this as she offered us a table in the restaurant as soon as one became available. This was much quieter and we could still hear the music. The food was delicious and the service delightful - I wish we lived nearer.

A warm friendly welcome awaits you here by all had an evening meal which I could highly recommend was fantastic value for money good sized portions very prompt service with a smile well worth a visit will be return for sure soon

Nice place with plenty of outside space to lounge about when sunny .Great staff.
