Went through drive thru today ,very busy new bay for uba eats and all the app based delivery bays thought would eat straight away so found parking and tucked in and yes mcdonalds you might be making millions more in profits but at the cost of the customer big mac barely warm and chips were cold before i finished never had a delivery but if my food was anything to go by carn have food hot as i ate within 5 mins of recieving and whats happened to the sizes ive been using the brand from when you first opened in uk and burgers were twice the size now they are half the size and tripple the price and cold when come to eat

I had a truly disappointing experience at McDonald's West Orchards in Coventry on 26th December 2024. My family and two other families were waiting outside before 10am, as the sign clearly indicated that the festive opening hours showed an opening time of 10am. We waited patiently, only to be met with an abrupt and unhelpful response from a woman behind the counter once the clock struck 10:02am. This lady, who I later found out was Anna (a manager with dark hair), shouted at us, saying, "We do not open until 11am and we are not serving breakfast." She could clearly see we were all waiting, but instead of informing us before opening time, she waited until it was two minutes past the advertised opening hour to deliver the bad news. To make matters worse, a family that had ordered via the app was completely ignored by Anna at first. Eventually, a man from the family had to approach the counter, where Anna snatched the money out of the till and almost threw it at him. She didn't even ask if they'd like to cancel the order or refund the payment back to their card – incredibly unprofessional. While I can’t be sure if there was a language barrier, what I do know is that Anna’s behaviour was unacceptable. After working in customer service for many years, I can confidently say that this is not how you should treat your customers. She lacked basic courtesy, professionalism, and communication skills, and certainly does not deserve to be in a management position. I would not recommend this McDonald's, and I strongly believe Anna is unfit for her role. In my opinion, she should be removed from management altogether. With her attitude, she doesn't deserve to be in any customer-facing role. The cleaner at this branch probably has better interpersonal skills than she does!
