The best restaurants serving Italian food in South West

Went for dinner with a friend, Mateo, the manager was our server, since the minute we stepped in we had a warm welcome, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Great atmosphere guys, we had such a lovely experience. 100% recommend

Not happy waited over 2 hours for food to be cold and soggy! I use u a lot and your normal the best standards have dropped

We came in here for lunch after a friend recommended it to us and it didn’t disappoint. Well that’s not entirely true, we were served by two different waitresses and one of them was brilliant, she was friendly and attentive but the other was terrible. It was like she didn’t want to be there and it showed, bit of an attitude and anything but friendly or helpful. I’m sure the owners are aware who the latter is. Back on topic there was plenty of choice on the menu and the food was excellent. I would happily come back here again and I would even recommend it to friends.

Disappointing. Reading the other reviews on this restaurant, we must have just gone on an off night. The starters were incredible I have to say but that was all that was good about the meal. Absolutely gutted with the main course as we were looking forward to an authentic crispy pizza base. Unfortunately it was really doughy, good taste just inedible base. Ordered new forest ice cream for dessert not convinced. It may have been but could have possibly been in the freezer for a few years. Bit of a shame. We’d like to go back as this is a local restaurant, hopefully they were just having an off night.

Entered the restaurant to a warm and friendly greeting by Aga. Iain was incredibly helpful and informative on the menu and the offers/discounts provided to us. The food was honestly amazing and all together was a really enjoyable experience. Will definitely come back again!!!

We really enjoyed our pizza and salad! Our server was so friendly. The music playing created a lovely Italian ambiance, as well as the great art work.

vegan options jumbled into the menu - hard to decipher as same colour print as NEW - food okay but not amazing - service was lovely and atmosphere was okay on weekday not too loud but disappointing vegan options

Thursday night in January, restaurant was nice and relatively quiet. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our waiter was Orazio and was excellent. Thank you all.

It's a thur in Jan so not busy at all so atmosphere was lacking but not Ask fault. Charlotte our waitress was a delight. We ordered two Calzonies. Had to send mine back as it wasn't very hot. No trouble at all and Charlotte was very apologetic. To our surprise the bill had been amended for the food not being correct first time. We will definitely go back as the food was delicious and staff very welcoming.
